Welcome to the Illinois Chapter of Community Associations Institute

The Illinois Chapter of Community Associations Institute serves the educational, business, and networking needs of community associations in the Chicagoland Area. Members include condominium, cooperative, and homeowner associations as well as those who provide services and products to associations. The Illinois Chapter has over 1300 members including more than 200 businesses, over 700 community association managers and companies, and 400 community associations Board members and unit owners representing over 100,000 homeowners . Community Association Managers – CAI is the place for Community Association Managers to learn about manager licensing, earn continuing education credits, attend networking and social events, earn designations and build industry relationships.

Homeowners – CAI is the place for board members and homeowners of professionally and self-managed community associations to educate themselves, stay up to date on industry trends, and build relationships with managers, vendors and business partners who are knowledgeable in community association living.

Business Partners – CAI is the place for service providers and professionals to meet board members and managers of condo, townhome and homeowner associations.  Promote your business, share your knowledge as a presenter, network at a tradeshow booth or get involved on a committee.
